CHURTICHAGA + QUADRA-SALCEDO wins (with the other authors of the complex) the prize "Premio FAD de Arquitectura". The jury of prestigious spanish prize this year, decided to award MATADERO: as "the global attitude of the proposal and assess the collective intelligence," which has managed to turn the slaughterhouse not only in a center of artistic experimentation, but a testing ground for the new architecture.
